In the production of its beer, Heineken uses selected ingredients of extraordinary quality: Pilsen barley malt, hops, water and an exclusive bottom fermentation yeast. Heineken bottom fermentation yeast is distributed from Holland to the more than 70 countries where it is made. It is a bright yellow lager type and style beer. It has an intense, creamy and persistent white foam in the glass, which leaves clear rings as it is consumed.
