Horatius. Mencia DO Ribeira Sacra.

Horatius, a wine that transcends tradition and embodies oenological excellence. A tribute to the founder of our wineries. The Horatius process begins with fermentation in French oak truncated cone tanks, a technique that highlights the unique expression of the grapes, giving them an unrivalled identity. Ageing is essential in the history of Horatius, with 10 months of rest in 300-litre French oak barrels. This period gives the wine a complexity and structure that translate into subtle notes of oak, spices and a rich texture on the palate. The harmony between the wood and the characteristics of the grapes defines the personality of this exceptional wine. Horatius culminates its evolution with a minimum of 10 months of permanence in the bottle before being marketed. This additional time allows the wine to reach its fullness, refining and developing nuances that complete the sensory experience. In the glass, Horatius dazzles with its deep and bright colour, announcing a rich and complete experience. The aromatic bouquet reveals a fusion of ripe fruit, toasted and spicy notes, inviting you to explore the richness of each sip. On the palate, Horatius is distinguished by its structure and balance. Soft tannins intertwine with refreshing acidity, highlighting the ripe fruit flavours and subtle oak notes. The lingering finish leaves a lasting impression, inviting you to enjoy every nuance until the last drop.
