On pack Tía María coffee liqueur 70cl with 2 glasses

Tía María is an infused liqueur made from cane liquor (Jamaican rum), roasted coffee beans, vanilla and sugar, originally from Jamaica. Cane-based liqueurs are a typical island specialty and coffee from Jamaica's Blue Mountain region, one of the most recognized (and expensive) in the world. The legend of Tía María dates back to the mid-17th century, when a beautiful young Spanish aristocrat fled the turmoil of the colonial war on the island of Jamaica. Her maid saved a family treasure, a small jewelry box with black pearl earrings and an ancient manuscript with a recipe for a mysterious liquor. The liquor was baptized with the brave woman's name: Tía María. This recipe was rediscovered in the 50s of the last century by Dr. Kenneth Leigh Evans, who began to produce and market it.
