Tía María coffee liqueur 70cl

Tía María is an infused liquor made from cane liquor (Jamaican rum), roasted coffee beans, vanilla and sugar, originally from Jamaica. Cane-based liqueurs are a typical island specialty and coffee from the Blue Mountain region of Jamaica, one of the most recognized (and expensive) in the world. The legend of Tía María dates back to the mid-17th century, when a beautiful young Spanish aristocrat fled the turmoil of the colonial war on the island of Jamaica. His maid saved a family treasure, a small jewelry box with black pearl earrings and an ancient manuscript with a recipe for a mysterious liquor. The liquor was baptized with the brave woman's name: Tía María. This recipe was rediscovered in the 50s of the last century by Dr. Kenneth Leigh Evans, who began to produce and market it.
