Regina Viarum Mencía: Red wine from the DO Ribeira Sacra, made from 100% Mencía and aged for 6 months on lees in stainless steel tanks, thus preserving its fruity character. Awarded the Gold Medal at the 2023 Bacchus International Competition and 91 points by James Suckling. It has a cherry red colour with violet reflections. On the nose it offers intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with balsamic touches and a subtle mineral background that reflects the slate soils. On the palate it is fresh and silky, with balanced acidity and elegant tannins. Long and fruity finish. It pairs perfectly with Galician stew, meat stews, red tuna and semi-cured cheeses.
